The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up for a 'public outreach' campaign in the Madarihat Assembly segment, as it seeks to retain the seat in an upcoming by-election.
All party leaders, area MLAs, officials, officials and workers of leading organisations and departments will take part in the procession.
Himachal Pradesh Congress has decided to carry out a torch procession in all its blocks on March 16 in protest against the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre for allegedly trying to destabilise the government.
All party leaders, area MLAs, officials, officials and workers of leading organisations and departments will take part in the procession.
State Congress Organization General Secretary Rajneesh Kimta said State Congress President Pratibha Singh had directed all district and block presidents of the party to take out torch processions in all their respective blocks.

He said that the state Congress would never allow any conspiracy of the BJP to succeed.
The Congress party stands united and completely strong under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, he asserted.
